The Brazilian Journal of Microbiology is a scientific journal published quarterly by the Sociedade Brasileira de Microbiologia. The Brazilian Journal of Microbiology is intended to publish original research papers, research notes and, occasionally, reviews, covering all aspects of microbiology. The texts submitted for publication must be written in English. The journal has a severe policy of manuscript evaluation, and each manuscript is evaluated by at least two criteriously selected referees.
