About the Journal
The Brazilian Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Engineering (Revista Brasileira de Engenharia Agrícola e Ambiental - Agriambi), official journal of the Asociación Latinoamericana y del Caribe de Ingeniería Agrícola (ALIA), is published monthly, in electronic format, by the Academic Unit of Agricultural Engineering (UAEA) of the Center for Technology and Natural Resources (CTRN) of the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), for the dissemination of original and unpublished scientific articles, prepared in English. The scientific articles published in Agriambi Journal come from research carried out in the areas of Soil, Water and Plant Management, Irrigation and Drainage Engineering, Agricultural Meteorology and Climatology, Storage and Processing of Agricultural Products, Environmental Management and Control (this area only covers articles describing research on environmental management and control in the context of agriculture), Rural Construction and Ambience, Automation and Instrumentation, Agricultural Machinery, and Energy in Agriculture. With the help of the opinions of Reviewers, the articles are accepted or not by the Editorial Team for publication in the Journal. Agriambi also accepts the submission of contributions in the form of literature review. All articles published in the Journal, since the beginning of its edition in 1997, are available online on the Journal's website (www.agriambi.com.br) and on the SciELO website (www.scielo.br). Reproduction of published articles is permitted, provided the source is cited. In the bibliographic legends, footnotes and in references, an abbreviated title can be used in the following form: Rev. bras. eng. agríc. ambient., Campina Grande.
