Author Guidelines

Types of Documents Accepted

Submitted articles must be complete and contain original works with novel results, presenting real progress and significant contribution. Literature reviews, surveys, analyses of previously published material, etc., are not accepted.

The articles must be written in English language and their submission files must be uploaded in DOCX and PDF formats.

Articles should be no longer than 20 pages. Additional pages will be verified by the editors on a case-by-case analysis.

Article Submission Format

Title: Times New Roman, size 24, bold, single-spaced, centered.

Abstract: Times New Roman, size 11, bold, single-spaced, justified. Approximately

200 words. It should clearly describe the novelty, materials and methods, main contributions, and conclusions.

Keywords: 3 to 5 keywords, listed alphabetically and separated by semicolons, Times

New Roman, size 10, single-spaced.

Author  names:  Full  names  (do  not  abbreviate),  Times  New  Roman,  size  11, centered, single-spaced. Add a superscript index number 1, 2, etc., corresponding to your affiliatio.

Authors with full affiliation: Complete details (Laboratory, Department, University/Company, ZIP Code, City, State, Country) in Times New Roman, size 10, italics, single-spaced, centered, including email addresses. Numbered sequentially according to the author’s name.

Authors’ ORCID IDs: Include ORCID symbols after the authors’ names; each symbol must link to the respective author (https://orcid.org/signin).

Data availability: Times New Roman, size 11, single spacing. Provide information on where and how the data supporting the results can be accessed, including restrictions, if applicable.

Introduction; Proposal; Methodology; Results; Conclusions and Acknowledgments: Times New Roman, size 11, 1.5 line spacing, justified.  Show citations of references as a number in square brackets [1] and equations as a number in parentheses (1), both always numbered sequentially.

Equations: Use the Word Equation Editor or MathType, preferably. Equations must be numbered sequentially.

Digital Assets

Figures and Tables: Embedded in the text, with descriptive captions and cited in the text. Use vector formats (CDR, EPS, AI, WMF) when possible, or high-resolution bitmap images, at least 300 dpi, (TIF, BMP, JPG, PSD) for figures.

Citations and References

Times New Roman, size 9, single-spaced, justified. Include all authors. JMOe adopts the IEEE numbered style. Provide the DOI of references, whenever available. Avoid references that are not easily accessible. Financing Statement

Times New Roman, size 11, single-spaced. Include any necessary information regarding research funding, contract number, etc.

Additional technical information: Add any additional information, if needed. Delete if it does not apply.

DOI Registration: Please note that, once accepted, the article will receive a DOI corresponding to its publication.
