Poder, finanças e tecnologia na reconfiguração sistêmica do capitalismo
a clivagem centro-periferia no alvorecer do século XXI
Abstract
Capitalism today cannot be well understood if the diffusion of information technology, the role of the State on capital accumulation and finance transformations are not included at the analyses. This paper then makes its approach to capitalism evolution through three analytical dimensions: technology, power and money. The aim is to point the changes at the center-periphery system as capitalism changes itself. This paper argues that capitalism transformations since 1970 have changed the center-periphery system and points out a new phenomenon at the beginning of the 21st Century: the boomerang effect.
