EFEITO DA QUALIFICAÇÃO SOBRE A SATISFAÇÃO PROFISSIONAL DOS JOVENS BRASILEIROS

Abstract

A relação entre as capacidades profissionais dos indivíduos e as demandas do mercado de trabalho ainda é pouco compreendida. Este artigo analisou a satisfação profissional dos jovens de 15 a 29 anos no Brasil. Foram utilizados dados da Pesquisa de Transição da Escola para o Trabalho (SWTS) da Organização Internacional do Trabalho (OIT). Utilizou-se um modelo próbite ordenado, sendo a variável dependente o grau de satisfação profissional dos jovens. Foi verificado efeito negativo e significativo da qualificação excessiva sobre a satisfação no trabalho. Além disso, ter um trabalho formal, e maior salário/hora, estão positivamente relacionados com a satisfação no trabalho.
