O resgate da teoria do imperialismo para a análise do neoliberalismo: um debate
Abstract
Precisely at the moment when it is observed the recurrence of works in the Political Economy dedicated to analyzing contemporary capitalism from thefocus of the construction of subjectivities, for which the fundamental pillar of the so-called neoliberal system is the advent of a new reason for world, or
a new spirit of capitalism, the main purpose of this work is to rescue the theories of imperialism, especially the marxist ones, as a theoretical tool for the
study of contemporary society, showing that they allow us to keep the analysis of neoliberalism in the concrete field of class society, without losing all
the breadth of its unfolding in other areas of human life and consciousness. We raise the thought of Marx and Engels about the means of spiritual
production, in The German Ideology, to help us in this debate.
