Abstract

O professor Fabrício Augusto de Oliveira brinda os leitores com mais um relevante trabalho. O livro Política Econômica, Estagnação e Crise Mundial: Brasil, 1980-2010 faz análise detalhada da trajetória da política econômica do Brasil ao longo de trinta anos. A discussão, calcada no debate da política econômica, é dividida em dois grandes períodos. O primeiro, 1980-2006, revela uma economia em processo de estagnação, enredada na crise externa e na alta inflação. O segundo, 2007-2010, sinaliza a recuperação, com a volta do crescimento e acenos de superação dos entraves, mas logo frustrados pela crise mundial.
