Abstract

The present study aims to analyze Law 14,681 (Brazil, 2023) and its potential impact on the well-being of federal public servants in education. This is a qualitative exploratory study characterized as a documentary study due to the adopted technical procedure. It was found that Law No. 14,681 (Brazil, 2023) establishes goals, including the promotion of educators' health, the reduction of absenteeism, and the valorization of these professionals. The Law adopts a cooperative approach among different levels of government and emphasizes the importance of data collection, monitoring, and health problem prevention. It is concluded that the legislation represents a significant advancement in valuing education professionals in general, and federal public servants in particular, as well as promoting a healthy and productive work environment. However, it is crucial to emphasize that achieving these objectives depends on effective implementation, budgetary assurance, and rigorous monitoring.
